Assam HSLC Form Fill-Up for Assam HSLC Examination 2027 process has started. The Assam State School Education Board, Division-I (ASSEB Div-I) has announced the form fill-up schedule for the HSLC Examination 2027. The schools can complete the form fill-up process for their students from 12 October to 10 November 2026.
As per the official notification dated 3 October 2026, the Form Fill-Up will be done online through the ASSEB Registration Portal. The form is filled up by schools, not by individual students. Schools will log in with the same User ID and Password used for Class IX Registration.
Students of Government, Provincialised and recognised venture schools whose parental annual income is Rs. 4 lakh or below will not have to pay the examination fee, provided they registered in Class IX in 2024 or 2025. This is a big relief for many families in Assam.

Form Fill-Up is mandatory for all students who are going to appear in HSLC 2027. No candidate can fill up the form from another school unless the registration has been transferred.
Eligibility for Assam HSLC Form Fill-Up 2027
- Students must have registered for Class IX in 2024 or 2025 in the same school.
- Candidates who did not appear in the Class X internal examinations (Unit Tests and Half Yearly Examination) will not be allowed to sit for the HSLC Examination 2027.
- Students registered in one school but studying in another are not eligible for fee exemption, even if they belong to low-income category. If such waiver is detected later, result will be withheld and action will be taken against Head of Institution.

Fee Exemption in Form Fill-Up: Under Government of Assam Notification No. E-238074/869 dated 14 November 2025, the fee is waived for candidates of Government, Provincialised and recognised venture schools whose parental annual income from all sources is Rs. 4 lakh or below. This applies only to students registered in Class IX in 2024 and 2025.
How to Claim Exemption: Parents or guardians must apply to the Head of the Institution, who will verify the documents before allowing waiver. The candidate also has to submit a photograph showing present status of the tree they planted at the time of Class IX admission.
