Eligibility Criteria for Samagra Shiksha Assam Recruitment
Age Limit:
The candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 62 years of age as on 01-01-2026. Age will be calculated on basis of Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by recognized Board/Council. No other document shall be accepted.
Educational Qualification:
1. Additional Resource Person (ARP) – 23 Posts:
- The minimum qualification must be Graduate from a Recognized University and
- Candidate must have special qualification of minimum 1 Year Diploma in Special Education in any category of disability with valid RCI CRR number.
- Candidates must have Minimum 3 years working experience in any Govt. Organization/NGO working in field of disability/SSA/DPEP.
2. Assistant Additional Resource Person (AARP) – 34 Posts:
- Graduate from Recognized University and
- Special qualification like 1 Yr. Diploma in Special Education in any category of disability with valid RCI CRR number.
3. Special Educator – 11 Posts:
- Graduate in any discipline from recognized University and must having Special B.Ed. Or one year diploma in Special Education in any category of disability (RCI recognized) with valid RCI CRR number.
- Candidates must have Minimum 5 years working experience in any Govt. Organization/NGO working in field of disability/SSA/DPEP.
Preference: For ARP and AARP, Female candidates with disability & sibling of a disabled person or a person having a child with disability and having requisite qualification will be given priority.
For all posts, RCI CRR number is compulsory. Without valid RCI CRR, application will be rejected.
Selection Process
- Only eligible candidates will have to appear in test/interview, exact date will be communicated separately.
- Marking pattern will be on General Awareness, Personality & Aptitude, Subject matter in relevant field, Relevant Experience etc. for the post.
- Applicant has to obtain minimum 50% of total marks in interview and only then candidates will be short-listed.
- Exact date & time of Test/Interview will be communicated to shortlisted candidates separately.
- A candidate must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with efficient discharge of duties.
