What is ADRE 3.0? Understanding the Recruitment
The Assam Direct Recruitment Examination is a combined recruitment examination. Earlier, each department of the Assam Government used to publish separate advertisements for Grade-III and Grade-IV posts. This created a lot of confusion, overlapping of examinations and a huge financial burden on the candidates.
To solve this problem, the Government of Assam introduced a single, centralized recruitment system – ADRE. Under this system, the State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) collects all vacant posts of Grade-III and Grade-IV from all departments and conducts a single examination.
The first edition, ADRE 1.0, was introduced to streamline this process. After the success of ADRE 1.0, ADRE 2.0 was conducted with improved processes like combined registration, no application fee, and a single platform. Now, ADRE 3.0 will be the third edition with even better facilities and a more transparent selection process.
The main aim of ADRE 3.0 is to provide employment to the educated unemployed youth of Assam in a fair and merit-based manner. The entire process – from application to appointment – is conducted in a very transparent way.
