i) Master’s degree with 55% marks in concerned/relevant/allied subject from Indian University or equivalent degree from accredited foreign university. ii) Cleared NET conducted by UGC or CSIR, or similar test like SLET/SET or Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016. Candidates registered for Ph.D. prior to July 11, 2009 shall be governed by then existing Ordinances with conditions – Ph.D. in regular mode, thesis evaluated by two external examiners, open viva, 2 research papers published with one in refereed journal, 2 papers presented in conferences sponsored by UGC/ICSSR/CSIR.
